Your itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Puerto Princesa, Palawan. The trip starts in Puerto Princesa, and you can check into your accommodation from 2pm where you will meet your group and host. Our partner accommodation has been hand selected for their comfortable amenities, perfect location, family ownership and they are rated as one of the best restaurants in the city!
Day 2: Today is a bucket list moment. You will experience one of the Seven Wonders of Nature! Prepare to visit the Subterranean Underground River, with lunch included. You will head to Port Barton after your tour, not back to the city, to maximise your time in paradise. Once you arrive, you’ll be welcomed by our partner hostel with a BBQ dinner party. A chance to get settled, and get to know your group and Filipino hosts over some local food. Here you will experience what it’s like to live in a traditional Filipino style home, yet furnished with modern facilities such as A/C, wifi, hot&cold showers, a bar, and full use of the communal kitchen.
Day 3: Port Barton is a tiny coastal town, often overlooked and not heard of by many tourists who flock too quickly to El Nido. Today you will explore the highlights of Port Barton by boat, including visiting sand bars, snorkeling points, tiny islands, turtles, starfish and so much more! All equipment, water and lunch is included today.
Day 4: A morning yoga class to start the day with some movement. We have spent time reflecting on the best points to allocate your free time, and that’s today. Enjoy a free rest of the day to explore Port Barton and it’s famous surrounding beaches. Plenty of recommendations are provided for you in your handbooks, including our favourite coffee shop, brewing locally produced Filipino coffee!
Day 5: It’s time to head to your next destination with our partner transport supplier. You’ll always travel in private door to door shuttle’s for your comfort and convenience! El Nido is famous for its dramatic limestone cliffs rising from crystal-clear emerald waters, and its hidden lagoons tucked away within majestic rock formations. You will arrive with plenty of time to watch one of El Nido’s explosive sunsets! You will be staying at one of our partner accommodations, a locally owned beautiful establishment with extra large comfy beds, a delicious buffet breakfast each morning, and also a place to do some laundry for free! At almost half way through the trip, a refresh will be welcomed! Oh, and it’s perfectly located so everything is within walking distance!
Day 6: Today’s adventure in El Nido promises a series of breathtaking spots. Think a powdery white sand beach meets vibrant blue water. A big lagoon full of secret caves, only accessible by a gorge, which you will kayak through. A snorkeler’s paradise at Shimizu Island, full of colorful coral reefs and marine life. A secret lagoon, only accessible by climbing through the rock in the wall. And lastly visiting Payong Payong beach, surrounded by turquoise oceans and the famous lime stone rocks, where you can snorkel, swim and jump into the water!
Day 7: Your free day in El Nido! There is so much to see in do in El Nido, from zip lining over the ocean to a nearby island, lounging on their white sandy beaches, exploring the local shops, hiking Taraw Cliff, Nacpan Beach and so much more! A full list of activities and things to do will be given in your handbooks, so you all have the freedom and choice to do something you really want to experience.
Day 8: It’s time to learn how to cook filipino style! One of the best things about traveling is the food, and today you will learn some local dishes that you can impress your friends and family back home with.
Day 9: It’s time to move onto our fourth and final destination of the trip. Coron. The kind of place that feels like it was pulled straight out of a dream. Imagine cruising through crystal clear lagoons, where towering cliffs make you feel like you’ve just entered a lost world. Coron is one of the only places in the world where you can dive through WW11 shipwrecks, surrounded by vibrant corals. It’s like swimming through history. You will travel with one of our partner cruise companies to ensure maximum comfort across the ocean to this final island. Arrive at our partner hostel, just in time for sunset at the rooftop bar!
Day 10: Today is your free day in Coron to choose from an array of activities which will be in your handbooks. In the early evening, you have an option activity to join a sunset hike with the group overlooking Coron. Not an intense hike, it usually takes between 20-30 minutes and approximately 700 stairs.
Day 11: Your last day of the trip will be spent seeing some of the most special places in the entire archipelago! Today is action packed with the very best Coron has to offer. Including visiting Baracuda lake where you can see how far down the limestone cliffs go. Certain parts of the water vary in temperature due to the volcanic activity underneath. Kayangan Lake, with the most surreal views of Coron! The chance to see a WW11 sunken warship, one of the only ones in the world your able to scuba dive through. Lunch at coral garden. Twin Lagoon, where depending on the tide you can canoe under a cave into the lagoon or swim under and finishing off with relaxing at a remote white beach for sunset
Day 12: Departure Day. It’s time to check out of your accommodation and prepare to say farewell to your group
Introducing…
Introducing The Pearl of the Philippines. A 12 day group trip that zones in and focuses on the most notorious of all islands, Palawan. For year’s Palawan has been recognised as, not only as one of the most sought out islands in the Philippines, but in the entire world. In 2024, it was ranked as the third most visited island destination in Asia by TimesTravel, thanks to its stunning natural landscapes, such as the limestone cliffs of El Nido and the turquoise waters of Coron. Which are two locations that you will be staying in.
Not only will you experience the Philippines pristine beaches, clear waters, and unique biodiversity, you will also walk upon shores that have graced the New 7 Wonders of Nature list – an honor bestowed upon the Puerto Princesa Subterranean River since 11th November 2011. This natural wonder is one of only seven such sites recognized globally, solidifying the Philippines place amongst the most extraordinary environments in the world.
Our Values: Integrity, Safety, Connection
